Biography
Marta Wakula-Mac was born in Nisko, Poland. She graduated from the Institute of Art, Pedagogical University in Krakow in 2003 with a Masters Degree in the field of Fine Art Education. She also received a diploma working in linocut technique with Prof. Jerzy Jedrysiak. Since then she has been living and working in Dublin. She joined Graphic Studio Dublin in 2004 where she has been working and developing linocut and etching techniques. She is an author of over 40 illustrations to a book by Susan Knight “Gommorah” published in Dublin in 2007.Her work is included in the collections of the National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin, Muzeum Archidiecezjalne in Poznan, Poland; Civic Museum of Cremona, Italy, AIB Bank, TASCQ Dublin and numerous private collections.
