Biography
Nicole Tilley is a multi faceted artist whose work spans from etchings to paper cutting to theatrical shadow installations. Tilley received a Masters in Fine Art from The National College of Art and Design in 2011 and has since won numerous awards including the Dun Laoghair-Rathdown Council Professional Art Practice Award and Graphic Studio Dublin Graduate Award. Nicole Tilley is especially influenced by vintage childhood literature and illustration, old master etchings and Andalucian street art. Her work often explores liminal states of being. Tilley’s work can be found in several private and public collections, including AXA Insurance and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
