Biography
Stephen Vaughan was born in Kilkenny in 1970. In 1989 he began his artistic studies at the Grennan Mills Crafts School, Thomastown. From there he went to the Crawford College of Art & Design. Stephen graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art specialising in printmaking.
Stephen has exhibited in New York, Stockholm and many galleries in Ireland. He has also won many awards for his work including The Graphic Studio Award for printmakers: In Memory of Mary Farl Powers. His work is found in many worldwide collections including The Arts Council of Ireland, Butler House Kilkenny, University College Dublin, A.I.B Collection, Fitzwilton House Dublin, Office of Public Works, R.T.E Cork, and The New York Public Library.
